Some holidays are serious, some bring families together, and others are just plain fun. One of our favorite silly holidays is Something on a Stick Day. This off-beat holiday is all about celebrating your favorite foods that come on a stick. Of course, you know what our favorite food is — candy!
We’ve put together a collection of suggestions to help you make the most of your Something on a Stick Day celebration. Whether you want to gift stick-foods to your friends or you’re planning a spectacular end to a food on a stick feast, we’ve got you covered with bulk candy offerings worthy of putting on a stick.
Pre-sticked candy
Putting candy on a stick just makes sense. It lets you hold your sweet treat without getting your hands sticky, it makes for great candy buffet displays, and it gives you a place to tie a ribbon when you want to give candy as a gift.
There are so many options to choose from, it’s hard to know where to start. That’s why we created this handy list of candy that comes on a stick:
1. Rock Candy Sticks – They’re sweet, they’re classic, they come in a rainbow of colors and flavors. Rock candy sticks might actually be the king of candy on a stick. Choose from pink, black, white, dark blue, light blue, dark green, light green, orange, purple, red and root beer or mix and match your favorite colors.
2. Alberts Twist Pops – These lollipops are a spiral of color in fruity flavors. They come pre-packaged, making them perfect for handing out as party favors or making into a lollipop bouquet. Choose from cherry, black cherry, blue raspberry, grape, strawberry, white or rainbow.
3. Cube Pops – Enjoy the unexpected with cube pops, they’re lollipops shaped like a cube. They come in unique flavors like huckleberry, pina colada andcotton candy as well as more traditional flavors like wild cherry and green apple. For something really exciting, try Tie Dye Cube Pops.
4. Sweet Spindles – okay, this one is cheating a little. It’s not candy on a stick. It’s candy that is a stick. We had to include it though, because it’s the best bang for your buck. You get 50 individually wrapped 3.75 inch candy sticks in a rainbow of colors for less than six dollars.
