Spring is finally here. Thank goodness! To celebrate, you want to put together the most festive spring candy buffet anyone has ever seen.That’s going to take more than glass jars full of candy. Take your candy buffet to the next level with bulk candy and these crafty ideas.
Start with the colors of spring
Spring is all about pastels, you’re looking for greens and pinks, yellows and baby blues. If you choose candy and decorative elements that work within this color pallet, your candy buffet is sure to shout spring.
Plant some lollipop flowers
Flowers are the perfect symbol of spring. You can certainly add some fresh cut flowers or potted plants to your candy table, but if you want something truly sweet, put together this unique presentation of lollipop flowers.
What you’ll need:
- Terracotta pot
- Florists foam or Styrofoam
- Fake grass
- Cloth Ribbon
- Flower lollipops
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
How to make it:
- Cut a length of ribbon long enough to wrap around the top of the terracotta pot.
- Use the hot glue gun to attach the ribbon to the pot.
- Cut down the foam if necessary to fit inside the pot.
- Insert six to 10 lollipops into the foam.
- Cover the foam with fake grass
- Place one or two of these pots on your candy buffet and let guests pick their favorite flowers.
Grow a candy tree
Candy necklaces are always a hit because they’re the ultimate portable candy. To add them to your candy buffet, don’t just throw them in a jar to get tangled. Hang them from a whimsical candy tree and let guests choose their own sweet adornment.
What you’ll need:
- Candy Necklaces
- Bendable branch (from craft supply store)
- Terracotta pot
- Florists foam
- Fake grass
- Hot glue gun
How to make it:
- Cut down the foam if necessary to fit inside the pot.
- Press the thick end of the branch into the foam.
- Pull out the branch and put a few drops of hot glue into the hole and onto the end of the branch.
- Insert the branch back into the hole you made.
- Cover the foam with fake grass
- When the glue has set, decorate your tree with candy necklaces.
Add the best spring candy
