About Spangler Candy Company
Spangler Candy Company began as an Ohio manufacturing company called Spangler Manufacturing Company in 1906. Founder Arthur G. Spangler expanded into candy creation in 1908 at the suggestion of his brother and business partner, Ernest Spangler. Another brother, Omar Spangler, joined the company in 1914, making the company truly a family-run operation. In 1920, after years of dreaming up new candies, the Spangler brothers gave the business the name we recognize today, Spangler Candy Company. With dozens of delicious desserts in their product line, members of the Spangler family still operate the company today.
